Welfare Reform Bill: Concessions are not enough!

Next week, your MP will vote on the government’s welfare bill – this is a chance for them to oppose the bill and support people living with MS.

The government's supposed 'concessions' aren't good enough. PIP is a lifeline not a luxury. Creating a divisive system of haves and have nots is not a support welfare system fit for the future.

As a constituent, your local MP has a duty to listen to and represent you in Parliament. And MPs are feeling under pressure about cuts to disability benefits. We need to keep the pressure up.

If the government’s welfare bill becomes law, people who are diagnosed with MS risk losing thousands of pounds in essential financial support.

But this isn’t a done deal. You have the power to help stop the cuts. The government can’t push through their cuts without support from MPs.
