Approved, but denied

Sativex is a cannabis-based spray licensed to treat moderate to severe spasticity in people with MS when other treatments have not worked. It was approved in England in November 2019. Yet many people with MS are still being denied access.

In 2021 we launched a campaign to end this unacceptable postcode lottery, which led to more areas making Sativex available. But this isn’t enough – Sativex should be available to everyone who’s eligible.

Will you send an email to your local health body, called an Integrated Care Board (ICB), to ask them to prescribe this potentially life-changing drug?

Please enter your postcode below to check whether your local health body is prescribing Sativex.
