Take action for FES

Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) is a treatment used to stimulate movement in weakened or paralysed muscles. It has been proven to make walking easier and improve the lives of many people with MS.

Despite this, FES is not being funded consistently across the UK. This is causing an unfair postcode lottery.

We need your help. Will you write to your local health service to let them know the benefits of FES for people with MS and ask them to take a look at our evidence pack and webinar recording to learn more about this potentially life-changing therapy?

Fill in your details below, then on the next page you can send them an email we’ve prepared.

Are you sure? Choosing 'No' will stop all emails from us, including any you already receive.

Your first name, surname, email address, postcode and the information that you provide will be shared with the chair of your local Clinical Commissioning Group, Health Board or Health & Social Care Trust. The MS Society will use your email to send you an email confirmation.
